This year, once again, we chose to be there.
Because where there is color, there is care.
And where there is care, there is a future.
ColorAid 2025 is much more than a redevelopment project: it is an ethical building initiative that puts people at the center, along with collective values, the transformative power of color, and the social role of our sector. A project that proves how architecture, design, and materials can truly make a difference in improving the quality of life for those experiencing fragility. On the occasion of the ninth edition of ColorAid, we joined forces with businesses, institutions, and associations to enthusiastically contribute to the chromatic redevelopment of the Service Center for Unaccompanied Foreign Minors in Via Zendrini, Milan, a facility that welcomes minors in situations of vulnerability, offering them support, inclusion, and a safe environment. Thanks to ColorAid, the spaces have been redesigned to become more welcoming, stimulating, and capable of generating psychological well-being through the mindful use of color and materials.
Our contribution to the project
Two of our most representative solutions were chosen for the intervention, combining technical performance, environmental certifications, and aesthetic value:
Sensation Satin by Metropolis
A high-quality satin water-based enamel with a velvety finish, eco-friendly and certified HACCP and IAC Gold. The selected shades come from the exclusive “Colour Dreams” collection designed by Marcantonio, with nature-inspired hues conceived to infuse balance, energy, and harmony into living spaces. You can view the product here.
Ecotex by IVAS
A washable water-based paint, also IAC GOLD certified, remarkable for its filling power and uniform texture. The shades used are from our Interior Trends palette, a selection of 400 colors curated by Marcantonio, reflecting the latest interior design trends. You can view the product here.
Color as a tool for care and inclusion
ColorAid perfectly reflects our vision of building: technical, sustainable, but also deeply human. We believe that improving spaces also means taking care of the people who live in them. That is why we are proud to have contributed our expertise, our products, and our passion to a project that truly makes a difference. We thank all the partners involved — professionals, volunteers, students, and organizers — for sharing this journey with us. Together, we built much more than surfaces: we helped create an experience of growth, connection, and beauty.
