Kobra, one of the most praised street artists worldwide, has created a 12 metre high and 20 metre wide mural artwork on one of the highest walls of the Gualtiero Corsi marble quarry.
The image identified for this unusual location is the face of Michelangelo’s David, an artwork sculptured in the marble extracted by this quarry and reproduced  with bright and unique colours that are matched in kaleidoscopic geometrical shapes.
Il David che guarda la luna” (The David that looks at the moon) is Eduardo Kobra’s (1976, Sao Paolo – Brazil) latest work. The artist, with paint brush and airbrush, his two favourite tools, speaks in his own way about the battle against pollution, global warming, deforestation and war.
